When to write
You may wish to contact us if you notice:

- A book filed under a category that seems inappropriate (for example, a naval memoir placed under Wars, Revolutions & Nations when it belongs in Maritime Adventures).
- A file that cannot be opened, renders with garbled text, or fails to display on your device or browser.
- Images, tables, or special characters that are missing or unreadable.
- Accessibility issues, such as poor contrast, missing alt text, or screen‑reader incompatibility.
- Questions about privacy, data handling, or the use of optional technologies on the site.
- Concerns about copyright or rights: if you believe a title is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights to a work and wish to discuss its inclusion, we will review the matter promptly.
- General editorial observations or suggestions for new additions.
What to include
To help us investigate efficiently, please provide as many of the following details as possible:
- The exact URL (web address) of the page where you encountered the issue.
- The full title of the ebook and, if known, the author or editor.
- If relevant, the Project Gutenberg source link associated with the ebook.
- The device, operating system, and browser or reading application you were using.
- A clear description of the problem: what you expected and what actually happened.
- If the matter involves copyright or rights, any supporting information you are able to share.

What happens after you write
When you send a report, the catalogue project reviews the details and, if needed, checks the relevant ebook file, metadata, or page display. For format or rendering problems, we may test the file on different devices or reading applications to reproduce the issue. For category or metadata corrections, we update the catalogue records accordingly. If you have raised a copyright concern, we will examine the status of the work in your jurisdiction and, if appropriate, remove or restrict access to the title while we investigate. We may follow up with you if we need further information.
